Society of 7, Lani M brings Hawaii to Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Hawaii’s celebrated entertainment troupe, Society of Seven (SOS), have recently made their new home at the legendary Flamingo Las Vegas.

With their one-of-a-kind mix of blues, ballads, comedy, and impersonations, SOS has earned a reputation as one of the most entertaining and energetic shows on the Las Vegas Strip. SOS’s unique variety show has been touted as a “Fabulous, must see!” by the Las Vegas Sun and “A Strip staple” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Society of Seven is comprised of seven of Hawaii’s finest performers with an eclectic mix of talents. As a group they are skilled in just about every instrument including horns, keyboards, and guitar. SOS consistently delivers an energetic and comedic performance that offers wide audience appeal.

Lani Misalucha, a dynamic performer, adds a sexy vibe to the previously all-male group with her sultry voice and natural stage presence. Lani has been dubbed the “Siren of the Strip” and can easily shift from ballad to pop rock and jazz. She often surprises audiences with a sudden burst of operatic aria in a seasoned soprano voice. Recording multiplex tapes of the songs of great singers, she can, with alacrity, imitate the voice and style of, among others, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and even Barbra Streisand.

Tony Ruivivar is credited for being the creative force behind the group’s lively performances and also contributes to vocals and guitar. Bert Sagum is the comedic leader of the group; Marc Escueta is multi-talented in voice, instruments and comedy; Hoku Low boasts a crystal clear high voice and plays the bass and horns; Fresh from Hawaii, Vince Mendoza is the group’s drummer with impressive vocals; Roy Guerzo, keyboardist, and Wayne Wakai rounds out the groups with an impressive vocal range.
