Judy Ann Santos To Charm Jersey With A Concert & Ouija Premiere

Judy Ann Santos, Philippines highly popular and bankable movie/tv artist and product endorser, will grace the premiere of her latest blockbuster movie, OUIJA, and will also perform at her Lovespeak Usa Tour along with her beau, Ryan Agoncillo, Carol Banawa and the Chapter 2 Band, to be held at the Loew's Theatre in Jersey City, New Jersey on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 730pm.

Juday, as she is fondly called in the entertainment industry, pitched acting talent with Jolina Magdangal and ably supported by Yza Calzado and Rhian Ramos in her movie OUIJA. The movie hit the box office to the roof in the Philippines and earned over 50 million pesos just for its first day showing and still continues to rake in revenues in the provinces.OUIJA, which was partly set in beautiful Camiguin Islands, traces the misfortunes that trail half sisters Judy Ann Santos and Jolina Magdangal coming together due to a family tragedy.

Along with their cousins (Iza Calzado and Rhian Ramos), they venture to the fabled Camiguin island and perform a seance to summon spirits for fun. Everything ends up in tragedy as a vengeful spirit is summoned.

The movie then focuses on how the spirit terrorizes the cousins, along with their friends and colleagues. Although it is a horror film, there are high dramatic points that utilizes the great acting talent of Judy Ann. Once again, she proved that she can excel in any type of acting she is put into. OUIJA was also given high points in music and cinematography that makes the film the glossiest local horror flick ever made (the underwater scenes showing the sunken cemetery are spectacular and breath-taking). The movie also imparts some lessons in life, especially about treading into realm of the unknown.

Topel Lee directed the film. OUIJA definitely is a must-see movie for those horror flick lovers. This novelty and innovative project (a blend of movie premiere and live concert) is presented by the creative people at Special Edition Press, Inc. (SEPI) under the management of Nanding and Mila Mendez president and executive vice president respectvely, and co-produced by ERJ Productions owned by Dr. Manny Malasig & Ditas Malasig.
