Ham from Heaven
Pinoy ham store brings good tidings to Manalapan residents
THERE are many things that give Christmas its special place in everyone’s hearts: snow, the manger scene, presents, carolers and candy canes, to name a few.

However, it is unimaginable for a Filipino family to have its Christmas dinner without the presence of ham.

Most Pinoys could do without snow, and candy canes, but they can’t do without that smoked, sweet and juicy shoulder of pork.

Now, a Filipino-owned and operated store is trying to give ham a life outside the Christmas table.

‘Heavenly Ham’, located in Manalapan, New Jersey, makes and sells hams the whole year round.

The store is not a small– under the radar Filipino deli. It is a mainstream food/restaurant situated inside the Galleria Mall.

Due to its mainstream nature, Heavenly Ham also serves all-time favorites like pot roasts, BBQ, ribs and side dishes. They also boasts of an in-house bakery to ensure the freshnes of their breads and pastries.

Heavenly Ham is operated by Fil-Am community leader Sonia Balandra and her family.

If you want to order their signature pork or turkey hams, just visit their store at 100 Route 9 North-The Galleria Mall, Manalapan, New Jersey, or you can order online: www.heavenlyham.com. You can also call-in your orders: 732-303-6377.
