BBQREW, Hustyle And Delema To Play At The Phil-US Expo ‘08
JERSEY CITY–Jonkristoffer has had a passion for dance since his high school days, starting off with raving, line dancing and ballroom, before branching over to hip hop. Although he has no real formal training, he always tries to learn more to expand his horizons.

Lexine DeLuca is a seventeen year old senior residing in Howell, NJ. She has always had a passion for dancing but has just recently started participating in cotillions and modern dances over the past two years. She is a sneaker addict and has over 85 pairs of Nike dunks. Nam Hyun Joon is a big influence to her style of dance.

Travis Samson is 19 years old and lives in Brick, NJ. His passions include cooking, photography, tennis, and dancing. He likes to mime and moonwalk on his spare time.

Rhys Valmonte AKA "Crazy Asian" among his friends. He's 19 years old and residing in the town of Barnegat NJ. Currently attending school and will be majoring in physical therapy. He's all about loud music and dancing in general.

Marc Justin Mamboyo is 15 years old and lives in Edison, NJ. His passions include bowling, dancing, and eating. He has been dancing for three years in cotillions and modern dances.

Grace Miralles is 19 years old and I live in Franklin, NJ. Currently majoring in physical therapy. She started choreographing cotillions and modern dances this year. She enjoys pina coladas & getting caught in the rain.

The group’s influences include Michael Jackson, Jabbawockeez, and Nam Hyun Joon. The group was put together this year with the hope to get experience and to have a fun time dancing. We hope the audience will enjoy our performance as much as we will, as we try and pump up the crowd.

Meanwhile, Sherwin “aka Hustyle” Morales, Dale “aka”Libores and Producer Edmar “aka Doctah_Ed” Morales known as Hustyle and Delema knew each other since 2003. It started in Carteret NJ at Buddha Kai’s studio that sparks a new lyric that they now called Thuglish Ent. It’s a combination of English and Tagalog lyrics, our native language. With Studio session time being an issue in Buddha Kai’s studio, dreams and hopes had to be put on hold (for over 3 years), but with their dreams still hoping to be a reality. Hustyle manage to compensate a good amount of income for a studio.

Determinations and efforts make their dreams come true; Thuglish Studio was built in a ranch in Bedminster, NJ by Hustyle and Doctah_ed in December 2007.

With their own studio and own production they gave them chance to work with few of East Coast rappers such as Mike Swift, Lo-pro of Nyfp, Cuatro, and Jaman Serpenties of Dongalo Wreckords. Experimenting their lyrics created a lot of new ideas and inspirations. Doctah_Ed saw a bigger picture called Phlip Hop music. It’s like a Reggaeton or Reggae movement. It’s design to create rhythm in the mainstream music industry. They hope to continue to push the Phlip Hop and hope to be recognized here in U.S with their Tagalog and English lyrics and hope to work with more Filipino or American artists that will make an impact and difference in the music industry and our country, the Philippines.

Both acts will show their dance performance at the Phil-US Expo ’08 on May 17 or 18, 2008 at the New Jersey National Guard Armory at 678 Montgomery St. and Summit Ave., New Jersey. For more information please call 201.332.4973 / 973.239.2539 or visit www.phil-us.expo.com
