MANILA -- Maja Salvador is dedicating her decade-long success in showbiz to fans who continue to support her through her career's highs and lows.

The 24-year-old actress joined showbiz in 2003 after she became the subject of headlines as a teen reunited with a father she had never met, former actor Ross Rival.

It didn't take long before offers came in for Salvador to try acting, with one landing her a role in the primetime series "It Might Be You," which starred Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.

Since then, Salvador has appeared in over 40 TV projects and a dozen films, and has even ventured into concert performances.

Asked to whom she dedicates her 10th year anniversary in showbiz, Salvador said, "Of course sa fans, kasi siyempre very grateful ako sa mga fans na sumusuporta sa akin, talagang simula umpisa hanggang ngayon, kung anuman ang nangyayari, andiyan parin sila."

"Basta ang importante nage-enjoy tayo sa trabaho natin at nakakapagpasaya tayo sa mga tao," she added.

To celebrate her first decade in the industry, Salvador is touring in her own concert series, titled "Maja Unveils @ 10". The concert had its maiden show June 15 at Metro Gaisano Colon in Cebu and will move to Palawan on June 29 at NCCC Mall.

Having started her concert series last April 28, Salvador admitted that her schedule has become more hectic, but added that she draws inspiration from bringing joy to her supporters.

"Kapag nagpe-perform ka tapos nakikita mo 'yung mga supporters mo na natutuwa sa performance mo, 'di ba, sulit 'yung pagod," she said.

She added: "Mas nai-inspire ka at namo-motivate ka, 'yung determinasyon mo mas guma-grabe, at dahil sa kanila kung bakit ka nagtatrabaho nang maigi."
