MANILA -- Actress Bianca King said she has already moved on from her recent heartbreak with ex-boyfriend actor Dennis Trillo.

She said that after they decided to end the relationship last year, she requested for a short break from her mother network, GMA-7, to be with her family in the United States and Canada.

While nursing a broken heart, the actress was faced with new battles after her father had medical complications and her grandmother was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

Bianca said that before leaving Manila, she made sure that she was able to shed all the tears caused by the split-up and put brave face on for her family.

"Tama yung ginawa na hindi ako nagsalita, otherwise iniyakan ko kayo. Baka umiiyak ako sa lahat. Kausap ko yung mommy ko, umiiyak ako sa daddy ko. Grabe talaga. Nagsabay sabay talaga siya," she said.

What's disappointing, she said, was that during the time when she thought she could count on someone, that particular person failed her.

"Yung tao na dapat kinakapitan ko nung panahon na yun na may nangyayari sa family ko, nawala bigla," she said.

Her mother was also affected by the said break-up because she's very close to both Bianca and Dennis.

"Mas heartbroken and nahirapan mag let go yung mom ko. Sobrang close talaga kami and I tell her everything. Siya yung nahirapan and ako yung nagsasabi na 'mommy, move on na tayo, wala na talaga'," she said.

Bianca said she has no bad blood for Dennis, but she's also not open to any reconciliation.

When the entertainment press noted that Dennis doesn't have a civil relationship with the majority of his ex-girlfriends, Bianca jokingly said: "Ayokong maging statistic, gusto ko ako naiiba ako. Kung pwede kaming maging friends, why not? I don't have to like or love him but we can be friends."

The actress then confirmed that she's dating a non-showbiz guy right now. She described him as very persistent, kind and someone who understands her priorities and line of work.

"Sobrang bago pa niya, hindi ko pa masabi talaga. Siya yung nagtitiyaga mag tiis sa kabaliwan ko. Kasi ang nasa isip ko lang ngayon ay work and myself. Kung may lalake man diyan na mag-aantay or magbubuhos ng panahon at ng pagiintindi sa mga gusto kong gawin sa buhay ko, binibigay ko din yung atensyon na yun," she said.

When asked about what she learned from her failed romance with Dennis, Bianca said that aside from loving someone fully, she now know what she wants in love and life.

"Hindi ako nagkamali na ibinuhos ko lahat. I'm happy na nadagdagan ako ng life experiences. (Pero ngayon) alam ko na kung anong klaseng tao yung nararapat sa akin at siya ang nagturo sa akin nun," she said.

"Someone na magiging proud sa akin. Someone who will be proud of me as his girlfriend and hopefully his partner," she ended.
