MANILA -- ANGELICA Panganiban, at this point in time, thinks she is being showered with more than enough blessings that when she prays to God to thank Him, she likewise tells the Lord to grant the requests of other people.

"I never dreamt it would be like this," Angelica enthused. "That one can be happy in both her personal and professional life.

"Ako, iyan ang nararamdaman ko ngayon."

Indeed, where her career is concerned, Angelica cannot ask for more.

Besides her daily gag show on ABS-CBN, "Banana Split," she also has a new teleserye titled "Ruby" where she plays the title role.

For her leading man, she has Jake Cuenca.

She is Star Cinema’s lead actress in its Metro Manila Film Festival offering for this year, "I Love You… Goodbye," where she co-stars with Gabby Concepcion, Kim Chiu and real-life boyfriend, Derek Ramsey.

"This is our first movie outing together. And we are both excited," Angelica exclaimed.

As a boyfriend, how’s Derek? 

She smiled and answered: "Well, he’s tremendous.

"Derek is ‘yung tipo ng lalaking di mo aakalaing kabuuan ng isang ideal boyfriend."

"I love him for loving me for my being what I am. For being loyal. For being honest. And well, generous."

She cannot say enough of Derek’s generosity. On her recent birthday, he gifted herhim with an expensive bag, a Hermes.

"As far as I know, only those who really can afford can own a Hermes.

"Me? Pinagiipunan ko para sana makabili nitong brand na ito. Na natupad na because of Derek," she added happily.

Last August, if you recall, Derek surprised Angelica with a Mini Cooper, which, she happened to mention to Derek once, is her dream car. 

"Now, tell me," Angelica declared. "how can you not love a man sincerely and with all your heart, kung siya ay si Derek?

"Oh, thank God talaga. I’m so happy." (MNS)
